B Beside The Seaside is an international B-Movie Festival for Horror, Sci-fi, Martial Arts, Action, Odd, and any over the top, Extream, Crazy films with a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure. This is NOT a festival for poignant dramas.
This festival is to celebrate B movies in all their glory. Judging for the best feature and best short film award will be based on pure entertainment value!
The festival will be hosted by the Southport Bijou Cinema in Merseyside, England.
We select several feature and short films to be part of our festival which will take place over 2 days. All selected films will be eligible for the following awards:

Best comedy sidekick
Most over the top death scene
Coolest VFX
Coolest practical effect
Best scream
Strangest item used as a weapon
Most bloody
Most disturbing
